Estimados lectores,
Ayer tuve el privilegio de asistir en la conferencia ” El mejor jefe que nunca jamas hayas tenido” por Marta Williams, una de las profesionales claves en liderazgo y coaching ejecutivo.
Una conferencia llena de aprendizaje y de emociones, estaba tan entretenida que no me acuerdo haber mirado mi reloj ni una vez! salí de allí como si hubiera mirado una película pero no una cualquiera, una de estas películas tan profunda que me hizo reflexionar todo el camino andando a casa.
Me desperté esta mañana con ganas de compartirlo con vosotros:
” El mejor jefe que nunca jamas hayas tenido”
A pesar de que esta conferencia estaba dirigida al mundo empresarial, me di cuenta que un jefe o un líder lo somos todos! y a lo mejor lo estamos ejerciendo sin darnos cuenta: con nuestros hijos, nuestra pareja y amigos.
Un buen jefe te inspira confianza, es humilde y respetuoso, sabe de que habla y comparte info, cree en ti, te ayuda si lo necesitas, y sobre todo te escucha mucho.
haz tenido la suerte en conocer en tu vida por lo menos una persona con estas valores? te consideras uno de ellos?
os invito a desconectar 5 minutos de lo que estas haciendo, respira hondo y sé sincero en contestar y reflexionar en lo siguiente:
– ¿Cumples con lo que prometes?
-¿Eres congruente con lo que practicas?
-¿Te consideran digno de confianza?
-¿crees en : la justicia, la humildad, la confiabilidad y la integridad?
Si acabas de descubrir que lo eres y que tal vez no lo sabias pues enhorabuena!
Sabes por qué te felicito? porque lo estas haciendo desde la humildad y la ética: honestidad, respeto y confianza.
Si ves que no cumples con una de estas en tu trabajo, en tu hogar, con tus amigos y sobre todo CONTIGO MISMO, creo que ha llegado tu momento de parar,de reflexionar y de encontrar soluciones porque te puedo asegurar, querido amigo, que sea lo que sea tu edad, tu experiencia o tu puesto actual, NO eres este mejor jefe y que es hora para actuar!

Dear Readers,
Yesterday I had the privilege of attending the conference “The best boss I’ve ever ever had” by Marta Williams, one of the key professionals in leadership and executive coaching.
A conference full of learning and emotions, was very interesting that I do not remember looking at my watch even once! I still have this feeling that I was watching a movie, a kind of very deep movie that made me think a lot in my way back home.
I woke up this morning wanting to share it with you:
“The best boss I’ve ever ever had”
Although this conference was aimed at business, I realized that a boss or a leader we are all! and maybe we are exercising without realizing it: with our children, our spouses and friends.
A good leader inspires trust, is humble and respectful, know what he is talking about and share info, he believes in you, he is there in case you need help, and the most important thing is that he listens.
Did you ever have the chance to know at least one person with these values? do you consider yourself one of them?
I invite you to disconnect 5 minutes of what you’re doing, take a deep breath and be honest to answer and reflect on the following:
– Do you carry out your compromise?
– Are you consistent with what you practice?
– Are you considered trustworthy?
– Do you believe in: justice, humility, reliability and integrity?
If you just discovered that you are and maybe you did not know then congratulations!
You know why? because you’re doing it with humility and ethics: honesty, respect and trust.
If you see that you miss one of these at work, at home, with your friends and especially WITH YOURSELF, I think now is a time to stop, to reflect and to find solutions because I can assure you, dear friend, that whatever is your age, your experience or your current position, you are NOT the best boss and it’s time for you to act!
